We were just made aware of this vaccine clinic information this morning: Shasta Cascade Health Center in Mt. Shasta is having a COVID 19 vaccine clinic today at their Mt. Shasta office (825 Pine Street), and again next Thursday day. The hours today are from 10 am until 5 pm. Please call 530.926.4528 to determine which vaccines will be given and for more information. This is short notice because these clinics are based on staff availability. There is also a COVID 19 vaccination clinic at COS next Wednesday, Sept. 29, from 10 am until 12:30 pm. Thank you to all the parents, students snd staff. This morning was a huge success with Covid testing at SISSON. Those who pre-registered made it so much easier, quicker for all of us. If you don’t pre-register it’s OK. We will continue to test as needed but testing in the mornings from 8-10. If you have any questions please call the office at 926.3846. Thank you.

Pre-Register for your Rapid Covid testing tomorrow, Wednesday, September 8, 2021. We partnered with the California Department of Public Health to offer COVID-19 testing. This testing is through Primary.Health and will begin tomorrow, Wednesday, September 8, 2021. To get started, please pre-register for testing by clicking this link: https://my.primary.health/l/mtshasta. You only need to register once and each time you test, it will take no longer than 15 minutes. We will have you drive through our "staff" parking lot and pull up in front of the side doors. You can also park along Rockfellow. We will be having 2 people administering tests. Please be patient and pre-register, it will help us out tremendously. This letter is to all families in our learning community. We are doing our best to maintain in-person learning, and you can help. 7A Quarantine… I just wanted to clarify some confusion regarding 7A Mrs. Anderson’s class under quarantine. Mrs. Anderson‘s class is the ONLY 7th grade class that is under quarantine. 7A students can return to school on Monday, September 13. SISSON will contact parents regarding a short term independent study packet that will be ready for pick up tomorrow, September 7. Students that have been vaccinated need to bring their vaccination card to Holly at the Sisson office before they can attend class, tomorrow, September 7. Students that are symptom-free and interested in receiving a Covid test, can test six days after the infected person started having symptoms and returned on the 8th day, Friday, September 10. Otherwise everybody will return on Monday, September 13. Mr. Schmidt’s class will return to school tomorrow, Tuesday, September 7, like normal.
